From B&B Electronics Manufacturing Co. Inc.
Data Acquisition, or DAQ for short, is critical in today's manufacturing environment. DAQ Systems are designed to gather, store, and analyze data. With this information, plant managers can make intelligent decisions concerning process improvement, quality, and efficiency. This white paper examines some basic DAQ terms and concepts. It is intended as an introduction to the world of Industrial Data Acquisition and Control systems. Products & Services
Data loggers and data recorders acquire digital data from sensors and other signals. They are primarily used to store data for subsequent downloads to a host PC, but may also include real-time features such as monitors and alarms.
