From Eurotherm/Action Instruments
The IVI Foundation is an open consortium founded to promote specifications for programming test instruments that simplify interchangeability, provide better performance, and reduce the cost of program development and maintenance. In today's world two factors hinder efficient test system setup and support: 1) the high cost of developing and maintaining test system software and, 2) rapidly evolving technology. The IVI Foundation addresses these needs through new driver technology: · IVI drivers define a new level of quality, completeness, usability, and functionality that reduces the cost of test system development and ownership. Products & Services
VME extenders and VXI extenders are boards used to improve or extend the functions of the standard VME / VXI system.
LXI products use LAN extension for instrumentation (LXI), a networking platform designed for the management of instruments in industrial environments. LXI is based on Ethernet technology and usable across a local area network (LAN).
VME and VXI products is a general search form that covers peripherals for the VersaModle Eurocard (VME) bus and VME extensions for instrumentation (VXI), an electrical and mechanical standard used mainly with automatic test equipment (ATE). VME and VXI products include switches, extenders, controllers, processors, and interface adapters. More detailed search forms are available for individual areas.
Instrument calibration services test equipment and calibrate them to various standards.
VME switches and VXI switches are used in industrial systems to connect test points, or devices, to instruments for the purpose of testing, measuring or monitoring the system.
