Enclosure Integrity Testing (Gas Suppression Testing) of the 3M Pass-Through Device

From 3M Fire Protection

Room enclosure testing was completed in accordance with NFPA 2001 Appendix C to incorporate the 3M Fire Barrier Pass-Through Device, using a typical halocarbon agent included in the standard, in this case, 3M™ Novec™ 1230 Fire Protection Fluid. Testing is important to demonstrate performance with the pressurization associated with gas suppression of rooms using a 3M Pass-Through type device as a fire-stopping medium.
