Color is an absolute must for some projects to be successful. Lauren offers EPDMs and other compounds in colors other than black. Our complete line of silicone capabilities allows Lauren to be creative with our design and production; we have even perfected the application of adhesives to silicone products. Materials best suited to color matching for both molded and extruded parts include dense silicone products. Other dense materials can be colored, although not as easily. Manufacturers can establish exact color specifications by using colorimeters; however, some colors can be hard to match, such as true reds. Products & Services
Silicone adhesives and silicone sealants have a high degree of flexibility and very high temperature resistance.
Color sensors register items by contrast, true color, or translucent index. True color sensors are based on one of the color models, most commonly the RGB model (red, green, blue).
Conductive adhesives and compounds provide an electrically and/or thermally conductive path between components.
Color and appearance instruments are used to measure the properties of paints and coatings including color, gloss, haze and transparency.
Molding compounds and resins are industrial plastics and polymers that are suitable for forming. They are available as pellets, liquids, and powders and are used in processes such as injection molding, compression molding, reaction injection molding (RIM), resin transfer molding (RTM), and blow molding.
