The customer monitors high-speed 1,200-baud modems that communicate with traffic lights at various intersections. Each phone line carries 4 channels with 1 signal each. Manufacturing deficiencies that typically occur are a slow modem transfer rate and packets that arrive too early or too late, thus missing the target time window. These deficiencies can be easily represented on a graphical display. In order to demonstrate potential problems rather than needing a daily service call, the customer would like to be able to electronically send the captured signal to the contractor who builds the modems. Products & Services
Radio modems are radio frequency transceivers for serial data. They connect to serial ports (RS232, RS422, etc.) and transmit to and receive signals from another matching radio modem.
Wireless modems transmit modulated data using electromagnetic waves.
IC modems enable computers to transmit data over telephone lines or via wireless signals.
Bit error rate testers are devices or procedures that measure the bit error rate (BER) for a specific transmission.
Traffic safety equipment provides visible and physical barriers or high visibility guidance systems to help control traffic flow.
