While it conjures mental images of something removed from a clogged pipe, Scrum-actually derived from the word scrummage from the sport rugby-is an agile framework for completing complex projects. Scrum originally was formalized for software development projects, but works well for any complex, innovative scope of work. It's used to create a collaborative approach for compressing design and development timeframes.
