A major test strip manufacturer wanted a high-volume, high-accuracy web based system to produce a new test strip design for development, clinical trials and eventual production.
Our client needed a system flexible enough both to develop a new test strip and to produce mass quantities of parts for clinic trials. The system would eventually be moved over to production and needed to produce parts at production speeds. Flexibility was important to allow easy modification of the product design and complete high speed, high accuracy processes such as dispensing, inspection, and laser cutting on a moving web.
