Temperature and Humidity Monitoring During Truck Shipments

CAS DataLoggers recently supplied the datalogging solution for a chocolate manufacturer experiencing problems when complaints came in from customers occasionally receiving spoiled chocolate products. There were three possible phases where this risk could occur-- during manufacturing, transportation, or after the retailer received the chocolate. Since both temperature and humidity were critical to chocolate quality, it was necessary to closely monitor both parameters during the entire process.

Temperature Indicators
Temperature indicators are designed for temperature monitoring and analysis. These devices either come equipped with an integral sensor, or require sensor input.
Thermocouple Temperature Transmitters
Thermocouple temperature transmitters convert the small millivolt output of a thermocouple to a current signal (typically 4-20 mADC) that is immune to noise and voltage drops over a long distance.
