Hybrid® Capacitor Applications

Hybrid® capacitors have a lower time constant than other electrochemical capacitors. The
behavior of Hybrid® capacitors was evaluated in two applications combining high-rate discharge,
limited charging time and current, and high energy density as critical requirements. Capacitance
vs. Resistance plots are introduced as an aid to designing capacitors and comparing capacitor
perfonnance.
