n the automotive testing world, thermal imaging cameras are a extremely useful tools. Here are a few examples of how I have used thermal imaging cameras to save time and money within the automotive field. The design of windshield defrost demist ducting is complex and hampered by the dimensional constraints due to other essential vehicle parts. It can be difficult to provide an adequate and evenly distributed airflow to the inner face of the glass. To validate a design, a typical defrost development test is as follows:- Following design guidelines for the intended market a vehicle needs to be chilled to -20°C or so and soaked (to achieve uniform temperature) for up to 8 hours to ensure a known start point. The windshield has a known amount of water sprayed on and is left to cure for several minutes to establish uniform crystal consistency. The vehicle engine is started and allowed to idle with the appropriate heater/windshield defrost settings.

Products & Services
Tugs, tow tractors and pushers are used to move rolling items. They are wheeled, self-propelled, and capable of moving heavy loads.
Complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) image sensors operate at lower voltages than CCDs, reducing power consumption for portable applications. Analog and digital processing functions can be integrated readily onto the CMOS chip, reducing system package size and overall cost.
Electrical and EMC testing services evaluate parts and products for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), electromagnetic interference (EMI), radio frequency interference (RFI), dielectric properties, conductivity, electrostatic discharge (ESD), insulation resistance, and other electrical characteristics.
Specialty testing and inspection services provide specialized or proprietary testing services and inspection services.
Inspection services examine products, parts, equipment, repairs, services, installations, and facilities to ensure quality, consistency, and condition, as well as conformance to required standards and/or procedures.
