Three phase line reactors offer an economical solution to a variety of application problems in variable-speed drive installations. Reactors solve problems on either the input or the output of the drive if the reactor is compensated to handle the effects of harmonics.

To see where these reactors fit in today's technology, we have to go back 25 years to the introduction of low-voltage industrial drives. Often, the installation required a voltage step-up or step-down and line isolation was almost universally recommended. The isolation transformer provided both line isolation and voltage transformation. It became standard practice to include a drive isolation transformer with nearly every drive installation.

 


Products & Services
Voltage and potential transformers are used to measure voltage in electric circuits. Their main role is to condition (step down) the voltage to be measured to levels suitable for the measuring instrument.
Reactors are used to grow cells and contain reactions.
Process reactors are containers that are used to contain reactions.
Gate drive transformers are used to drive high-speed switching devices such as field effect transistors (FET) and insulated gate bipolar transistors (IGBT). They are used in applications such as switching power supplies.
Telecom transformers are used in applications which require high bandwidths and fast switching speeds. They isolate the signal between primary and secondary grounds. This product area includes DSL, xDSL, T1, E1, ISDN, LAN, WAN, Ethernet, ATM and modem transformers.
