Most of us in the process industries remember the day when production time and processing costs soared - while solids like fumed silica, calcium carbonate, gums and thickeners stubbornly floated on the surface of liquid batches around the world, refusing to wet out. The first generation of powder induction equipment accelerated the process with a system that combined a pump, eductor and rotor/stator mixer. But the system was prone to clogging, and maintenance costs were high (with three pieces of equipment and a complex system to keep running).
Products & Services
Rotor-stator mixers are single-shaft mixers with an impeller rotating in close proximity to a stationary housing. They are used to rapidly break apart solid particles in a liquid, or to emulsify a liquid into liquids.
Fillers and reinforcements are additives used to extend, strengthen and/or modify plastics, composites, adhesives, coatings and other materials.
Industrial filtration equipment is used to filter, thicken or clarify a mixture of different elements.
Electric and electromagnetic wastewater and water treatment equipment uses electrical charging and magnetic energy to treat water and wastewater.
Minerals and mineral powders consist of bulk or particulate forms of silicates, clays, calcium carbonate, wollastonite, aggregates and other additives used to extend, fill, strengthen or modify plastics, coatings, adhesives, and other materials.
