Integrated Services Digital Networks (ISDN) is an international standard used to send data, video and voice over digital telephone lines or normal telephone wires. ISDN support data transfer rates of 64 kbps. Normally the telephone company installs two lines called B channels; both can be used to send data to achieve data rates of 128 kbps. A broadband version of Integrated Services Digital Networks, called B-ISDN, supports data rates of 1.5 Mbps over fiber optic cables. Products & Services
Network modems (modulators-demodulators) are devices or programs that allow computers to transmit data over telephone lines. They convert digital computer data to analog sound waves and then demodulate the carrier signals to decode the transmitted information.
Internet service providers (ISPs) furnish data communications like Ethernet and ATM to businesses.
ISDN test equipment verifies the communication services provided by ISDN equipment.
Network repeaters regenerate incoming electrical, wireless or optical signals to preserve signal integrity and extend the distance over which data can travel. They are often used to connect cable segments in IEEE 802.3 networks.
Bit error rate testers are devices or procedures that measure the bit error rate (BER) for a specific transmission.
