Propeller Mixers and Impeller Mixers

Propeller mixers and impeller mixers use vertical blades attached to a horizontal disc. The propeller or impeller pumps the media in a radial direction and generates a recirculating mixing pattern above and below the disc. The high-shear, high-power design of propeller mixers and impeller mixers is stable under varying liquid depths. Products make an excellent choice as a rapid mixer in shallow basins and solids suspensions in shallow or varying water depths. Often, propellers are used as the lower impeller in multiple-impeller designs.

Products & Services
Laboratory mixers are used to mix, emulsify, homogenize, disintegrate and dissolve samples. Search by Specification | Learn more about Laboratory Mixers
Industrial mixers use a shaft, screw, blades, ribbons, impellers or propellers to mix industrial materials such as adhesives, chemicals, construction materials, minerals, coatings and paints. Search by Specification | Learn more about Industrial Mixers
Submersible mixers can be immersed totally in wastewater to maintain a mixture of fluids and solids. Learn more about Submersible Mixers
Impellers are rotating devices that force liquids, gases and vapors in a desired direction. They are widely used in pumping, blowing, and mixing applications. Search by Specification | Learn more about Impellers
Rotor-stator mixers are single-shaft mixers with an impeller rotating in close proximity to a stationary housing. They are used to rapidly break apart solid particles in a liquid, or to emulsify a liquid into liquids. Search by Specification | Learn more about Rotor-Stator Mixers
