Propeller mixers and impeller mixers use vertical blades attached to a horizontal disc. The propeller or impeller pumps the media in a radial direction and generates a recirculating mixing pattern above and below the disc. The high-shear, high-power design of propeller mixers and impeller mixers is stable under varying liquid depths. Products make an excellent choice as a rapid mixer in shallow basins and solids suspensions in shallow or varying water depths. Often, propellers are used as the lower impeller in multiple-impeller designs. Products & Services
