Vertical Roller Mills

 

Vertical roller mills use a vertically orientated crushing wheel or muller that revolves around a solid or perforated pan, or screen. Alternately, the pan can rotate or both the rollers and pan or grinding table can rotate. Vertical roller mills are also known as horizontal roller mills, ball and amp; ring, ring-roller, chasers, pan crushers, bowl mills, screen mills or mullers. These mills are often used in foundry type and mineral or ore processing applications. Their advantage is they can reduce a relatively coarse feed to a coarse powder in one step (e.g., minus 2 inch feed to -20 mesh product).

Refractory Shapes
Refractory shapes include recasted, preformed or sintered refractory products that are formed prior to installation in furnaces, boilers or other high temperature equipment. 
Aluminum Oxide and Alumina Ceramics
Aluminum oxide and alumina ceramics have excellent wear characteristics, chemical resistance, compressive strength, high-temperature properties, and dielectric strength. They are used widely because of their versatility and low cost. Their main drawback is its relatively poor thermal-shock resistance due to higher coefficients of thermal expansion and lower thermal conductivity (compared to other pure ceramic materials).
Glass Tube and Rod
Glass tube and rod are hollow or solid stock shapes of fused silicate materials. They are used in laboratory, sight glass, level gage, X-ray tube, optical, lamp, pharma, vacuum tube stem assembly, and industrial process applications.
Industrial Ceramic Materials
Industrial ceramic materials are non-metallic, inorganic compounds that include oxides, carbides, or nitrides. They have high melting points, low wear resistance, and a wide range of electrical properties.
