Sinter brazing is the process of joining two or more pieces of an assembly by brazing them during sintering. Sinter brazing yields strong and complex powder metal assemblies. When sinter brazing individual components of an assembly are compacted separately; components are assembled prior to sintering; and the assembly is sintered, allowing the braze material to melt and flow between the joint surfaces of the individual components, bonding them together. Parts that typically undergo sinter brazing include transmission hubs and piston assemblies. Products & Services
Powder metal services use heat and pressure to form precision parts and shapes from ferrous and nonferrous metals.
Brazing and soldering services use welding techniques and related processes to fabricate parts and join components.
Metal powders are finely divided or powdered metals used in fabricating sintered parts, thermal spraying, filling plastics, and other specialized applications.
Plastic welders consist of torches, ultrasonic welding equipment, heat guns, hot rod welders, RF or dielectric welders, and hot plate welders used to join thermoplastic materials.
Filler metal alloys and consumables used in welding, brazing or soldering include items in rod sheet, wire spool, coated stick, weld stud, powder, preform or paste forms.
