Thermal spray coating is a continuous process wherein the coating medium is continuously melted into droplets that are then impinged onto the substrate. Coating thickness ranges from 25 µm to 2.5 mm (.001 - .1 in). Thermal spray coatings compete with plating and paint coating for atmospheric corrosion resistance in water tanks, TV towers, bridges, and other large steel structures. Products & Services
Lining and wear protection services suppliers provide installation or application of wear protective liners, tile liners, spray on lining systems and/or high build coatings to protect an underlying surface from wear or erosion.
