Aerospace Wire EDM Electrode

These copper EDM electrodes are used to "drill" cooling holes in turbine blades and vanes. Hobson and Motzer stamps these copper electrodes complete in a progressive die. The location, thickness and width of the needle are critical dimensions. The needle thickness is coined to its final dimension.
