The Sparrowhawk Glider - Setting the standard with Divinycell HT cores
From diabgroup.com
The SparrowHawk from Windward Performance of Bend, Oregon is a huge leap forward in glider development offering affordability, high performance and rugged construction all combined in an aesthetically-pleasing package. It has an unequaled climb performance compared to other sailplanes, even open class ships. It does this with 11 meters of span and no flaps. The wing planform and airfoils are designed for optimal glide and climb performance with extremely benign and controllable stall characteristics. Currently it holds three Sailplane World Records. To achieve outstanding strength and stiffness the SparrowHawk structure is constructed from oven cured, aerospace grade, carbon fiber, epoxy prepreg and Divinycell HT cores - a build standard that hitherto has never been seen before in a production sailplane.

Products & Services
Printed circuit materials have copper-clad surfaces for the fabrication of electronic and electrical circuitry on printed circuit boards (PCBs), printed wiring boards (PWB) or flexible circuits.
Spherical plain bearings accommodate wide-ranging angular misalignment with a ball-and-socket type design. They are frequently used in linkages and control rod applications.
Fiber optic rotary joints (FORJ) are the optical equivalent of electrical slip rings. They allow uninterrupted transmission of an optical signal while rotating along the fiber axis.
Inductors, coils, and chokes are passive components designed to resist changes in current and store energy in the form of a magnetic field.
Intellectual property (IP) cores are pre-designed, pre-tested, integrated circuits or boards of industry-standard functions that can be easily used in embedded applications. Generally IP cores are treated as intellectual property and are licensed to OEMs.
