From Industrial Indexing Systems, Inc.

SERCOS interface users have come to a clear decision: proven real-time mechanisms such as hardware synchronization and time slot mechanisms set the standard for their automation solutions and hence their productivity. At the same time, engineering developments have clearly established Ethernet TCP/IP as the standard for non-realtime enabled communications inside and outside the automation world. The solution is very simple and very efficient: SERCOS III merges proven mechanisms with Ethernet physical infrastructure. A collision-free real-time channel with improved protocol efficiency transports messages which are defined by SERCOS. Independent of this real-time channel, a parallel, configurable IP channel carries general Ethernet messages and IP-based protocols such as TCP/IP and UDP/IP. Cycle times and separation of realtime and non-real-time channels can be adapted to the particular application. SERCOS III combines even the most mission-critical real-time qualities with Ethernet technology.

Products & Services
Fiber Optic Filters
Fiber optic filters allow only specific wavelengths to pass into a larger fiber optic system.
Optical Bandpass Filters
Optical bandpass filters are designed to transmit a specific waveband. They are composed of many thin layers of dielectric materials, which have differing refractive indices to produce constructive and destructive interference in the transmitted light.
UV Filters
Ultraviolet (UV) filters are optical filters which can be used to filter light in the ultraviolet part of the spectrum.
RF Filters and Microwave Filters
RF filters and microwave filters are devices that pass or reject signals by frequency. Basic types include bandpass filters, band reject filters, low pass filters, and high pass filters.
Compressed Air Filters
Compressed air filters are used to remove water, oil, oil vapor, dirt, and other contaminants from a compressed air supply.
