What Type of Water Should be Used for Humidity Testing?

From Associated Environmental Systems

AES Humidity Chambers are designed for demineralized water consumption. It is highly recommended that demineralized water be used for humidity testing. Demineralizer cartridges reduce the ion concentration of water to a level obtainable by single distillation. The cartridge removes essentially all ionizable constituents with the exception of silica and free carbon dioxide. This produces water which is ideal for humidity systems.
