From The Kahn Companies
Many manufacturers processes require a constant supply of compressed air. The air may be used for many different reasons-for example the actuation and control of pneumatic valves, cylinders and controllers; operation of process machinery or tooling; as a transport medium for bulk materials; or as a purge gas. The compressed air supply will contain some moisture which, if uncontrolled, could potentially cause damage to the process, pneumatic controls, tooling, finished product, or indeed the components of the air distribution system itself.

Switching to a membrane dryer saved 12 hours per week that a manufacturer of forestry equipment previously spent maintaining a refrigerant dryer used to remove moisture from compressed air. Drying...
A pressure control valve is defined in ISO 5598 as a "valve whose function is to control pressure". In pneumatics, this usually means the reduction of the supply pressure produced by the compressor by...
Clean, dry compressed air plays an essential role in industry with many applications, and is often considered a "fourth utility" at most facilities. It is used to move conveyors, transport products,...
Compressors with variable-frequency drives work more efficiently than conventional units, and reduce maintenance costs and noise levels. The Sigma profile airend produces more air per horsepower,...
