Hobie Cat - DIAB Go The Extra Mile

Going to any length to meet a customer's needs is certainly true in the case of DIAB SA who are now supplying Hobie Cat Europe with Divinycell core in specially fabricated sheets measuring 5.4 meters long x 0.5 meters wide. Receiving the foam core in this way speeds the build process at Hobie Cat as two single sheets (for either side of each hull) can be placed directly in the mold thereby eliminating 'on the job' cutting and fitting operations. Hobie Cat Europe is the world's leading manufacturer of sports catamarans with a range that extends to 11 different models; from the 3.98 meter Hobie Wave to the 6.10 meter Hobie Fox. The boats are built under climate controlled conditions in Hobie's modern manufacturing facility on the outskirts of Toulon in the South of France. The company also has a manufacturing facility in Cape Town, South Africa
