DIAB Core Infusion Technology Has Been Chosen For Royal Denshio 85ft

Royal Denship has established itself as one of Europe's premier producers of yachts ranging in size from 8 to 80 meters (26 to 258 ft.). DIAB has been working closely with Royal Denship and one of its manufacturing partners, Tuco Yacht Vaerft, who is based in Faaborg, Denmark, to introduce core infusion for the fabrica¬tion of large components such as hull and deck moldings. The aim is to further improve laminate quality and provide a clean working environment for its employees. As part of the development process two tender vessels (8 and 9.3 meters [26 and 30 ft.]respectively) were produced by Tuco with DIAB Technical Services personnel providing on-site support. Both these vessels met Tuco's expectations in terms of the actual process and the laminate quality. As a result the development pro¬gram was accelerated and the decision was taken to use core infusion molding for the hull of Royal Denship's new 85 ft. Flybridge motor yacht. Again direct support was provided by the DIAB Technical Services team.
