Long-life and reliability are imperative on the factory floor. Industrial computers must have components resistant to many elements, temperatures, and other issues specific to individual environments. Key components of the industrial PC are the hard drive, mother board, power supply, and overall packaging of the unit. Touchscreens and enclosures must meet specific harsh environmental standards in most cases as well.
