From AR Modular RF
We have recently completed a full environmental evaluation of one of our Military Tactical Amplifiers the KMW2030, which covers the 30 to 512 MHz band with 125 Watt output power for just 1 watt input power. These tests are extensive and time consuming, but once completed you have the assurance that the equipment can deal with some pretty arduous conditions. Often referred to simplistically as “Shake and Bake” there is in fact a lot more than just vibration and heat testing done to the equipment. The KMW2030 data sheet now lists the full set of tests that the US Army insisted on being completed before shipment of a recent large order. The following text shows the summary of those tests, if you need more detail on the actual tests we can send you that material or you can download the complete 810F spec from the Web.
