From thermotron.com
Thermotron is pleased to introduce the advantages of our DC/DC Converter Test Systems. Our solutions will help ensure the reliability of your high efficiency, high power density products. During testing, DC/DC converter products are placed in an environmental chamber and power is applied. A predetermined load is connected to the output of the device under test. Either fixed value or programmable loads are available, depending on your application. Product input and output current and voltage are continuously monitored during test. This constantly confirms operation and efficiency within defined parameters. Test definition and functional limits are defined by simple table entries, ensuring efficiency in system operation. While product temperature is normally elevated and held at a steady state, our systems are ready to provide the advantages of temperature cycling. Since this type of testing is normally done in high volumes, we offer many solutions for fixturing your products in the testing environment. Products & Services
DC-DC converter chips provide a regulated DC voltage output from a different, unregulated input voltage.
DC to AC converter chips transfer a DC input into AC power by using switching, inversion, or other technology.
Audio analyzers measure the noise and audio spectrum of output from an amplifier or a stereo.
Burn-in test equipment uses elevated voltages, temperatures and power cycling to evaluate high power chips, boards or products. The burn-in process accelerates failures normally seen as "infant mortality" in a device.
Medical power supplies produce conditioned outputs for medical devices, instruments, and equipment.
