From Ever Elettronica Group
Servo-step technology for complete motor control Ever Elettronica uses the proprietary F4D2 (Fast Forward Feed Full Digital Drive) servo-step technology, to regulate the torque, speed and position loops of stepper motors, synchronous motors with a high number of poles, by means of 'Full Digital' drives. This technology is the core of important innovations in control methods for stepper motors. The F4D2 patented feedback algorithm is implemented by means of a DSPC controller on stepper motors with 4 phases and 50 poles and allows a fast motor's phase current regulation by calculating the duration of the PWM cycles and the direction of the current vector in the coordinating system of the motor's stator saving the usual double computation data and results conversion from stator's to rotor's coordinates and vice-versa. The control by discrete motor steps is now replaced with a sinusoidal winding excitation without parasitic harmonics that, with the new closed loop control method, is always synchronous with the actual position of the rotor, and, thanks to the high chopper frequency obtained through the F4D2 technology, permits the highest torque to be obtained from the motor at any speed with a regular and silent rotation. The high frequency of the current regulation cycle in turn allows the torque, speed and position loops to be quickly closed. Such characteristics typify all the closed loop mode drives of the SDM and MDF series as sinusoidal vector drives, placed at the high end of the market, whose costs do not exceed the costs of traditional motion control solutions with stepper motors. SDM and MDF drives by Ever Elettronica provide the following features: F4D2 technology, used to control stepper motors in open or closed loop mode, a large drive memory capacity to store work-cycle control parameters with reference to the application, input-output lines and control interfaces with opto-insulated field buses. These features provide good motion control, suitable in applications which were traditionally complicated to implement in the various industrial automation sectors such as: fast labelling, packaging, food, printing, textile, etc. If you want to find out more about our products visit our website www.everelettronica.it where you can download datasheets and manuals about our products, and find our contact information.
