Available Temperature Sensors, Probes & Connectors

From Clark Solutions

Thermocouples consist of two spot-welded wires of different metals or alloys. The thermoelectric effect at the contact surface is used to measure temperatures. A relatively small thermoelectric voltage is caused, which depends on the temperature difference between the measuring point and the connecting terminals. The basic values for the thermoelectric voltages and for the permissible tolerances of thermocouples are specified in standard DIN/IEC 584. Our thermocouple sensors are available in two tolerance classes as per DIN/IEC 584-2. Our thermocouple sensors generally comply with Class 2 as per DIN/IEC 584-2. The specified Tmax values refer to the tip of the sensor. The specified T90 times refer to measuring operations in a moving liquid. The sensor handles and cables are usually resistant to temperatures up to +80 °C. Heat-resistant silicon or Teflon cables are also available on request. Various types of thermocouples are available; these can be distinguished in terms of their temperature range, sensitivity, and in particular their compatibility with the test substance. The most popular thermocouple is the NiCr-Ni (type K).

Products & Services
Level transmitters or level transducers are used to measure the level of a liquid or bulk solid material (as well as slurries) within a specified space. For each measurement, they provide an electrical output that is proportional to the input level. Search by Specification | Learn more about Level Transmitters
Pressure gauges are used for a variety of industrial and application-specific pressure monitoring applications.  Uses include visual monitoring of air and gas pressure for compressors, vacuum equipment, process lines and specialty tank applications such as medical gas cylinders and fire extinguishers. Search by Specification | Learn more about Pressure Gauges
Turbine flow meters measure the rate of flow in a pipe or process line via a rotor that spins as the media passes through its blades. Search by Specification | Learn more about Turbine Flow Meters
Solar radiation instruments measure the spectral range of radiation, including global solar radiation (sun + sky), net radiation (incoming solar - reflected solar) and the photosynthetic light spectrum. Search by Specification | Learn more about Solar Radiation Instruments
Conductivity meters, dissolved solids meters, and resistivity meters are analytical instruments that measure the conductivity, dissolved solids, and/or resistivity of a liquid sample. Search by Specification | Learn more about Conductivity and Resistivity Meters
