Sonic's Sonolator high-pressure homogenizing systems and RotoMill Colloid Mills have been widely used to disperse ink and paint pigments. Pigments are insoluble particulates that provide color, opacity, gloss and rheological control, and act as thickeners and corrosion inhibitors. They are used in carriers such as oil, water, latex, etc. to create paints, inks, printing inks, color pastes and much more. We see the use of pigments and paints in our world on a vast basis from roofing products, cements and plasters to everyday paint and printing inks.
