CANpressure

After a very successful launch at the Testing Expo in Stuttgart, Ipetronik, one of the world's leading manufacturers of measurement technology, will introduce the CANpressure to the North American market at the Testing Expo in Novi, Michigan. Ipetronik has partnered with the Swiss company STS Sensor Technik Sirnach AG, a specialist in high performance pressure transducers, to develop the "CANpressure." Long sought after, now a reality, a truly intelligent pressure transducer. The CANpressure integrates the five components of any digital system: the sensor, the amplifier, signal processing, the analog to digital converter and the sensor output in digital engineering units. The CANpressure solves the noise problems associated with senor cable runs. The CANpressure features a user selectable filter and user selectable sample rate up to 2kHz. Characteristics often associated with much larger digital systems, but packaged in a sealed stainless steel cylinder measuring 1" x 3". The galvanically isolated measurement values are transmitted via a CAN 2.0B bus.
