Markin Tubing's New Printer Friendly Brochure

From Markin Tubing

MARKIN is one of few tubing manufacturers that purchases low carbon steel in coils rather than pre-slit. In-house slitting allows us to promptly respond to shifting Customer production demands without the lead time of an outside processor. We can set up, slit and have material running on our tube mills in just hours. MARKIN's internal slitting operation fosters best-in-class edge conditions and half industry tolerance on width providing an optimal coil to the tube mill. In-house slitting also results in less edge contamination from storage and transportation. With leading technology and advanced processes, our 185,000 sq. ft. tube production plant is designed for an exceptionally efficient product flow. In recent years, our progress in lean manufacturing and Six Sigma has resulted in significant capital investments and equipment upgrades that ensure our product offering is of the highest quality at a globally competitive price. MARKIN offers a complete range of low-carbon welded steel tubing that includes bulk, copper flash, and Galfan corrosion-resistant tubing. Outside diameters can be produced from .156" to 1.5" with wall thickness ranging from .025" to .095". True metric sizes are also available.
