PiezoVelocity transducers have distinct advantages over traditional velocity pickups and piezoelectric accelerometers in many industrial monitoring applications. Onboard velocity integration overcomes low frequency cable pickup and the input noise of data acquisition equipment. In addition, the inherent high frequency attenuation of the velocity output greatly reduces overloads distortion. Accurate and reliable vibration sensors are critical for successful machinery monitoring programs. PiezoVelocity transducers (PVT) out perform general purpose accelerometers and electrodynamic velocity pickups on slow speed equipment. In the 90 to 3600 cpm range, PVT internal integration provides greater signal fidelity than standard accelerometers. Solid state PiezoVelocity transducers are more reliable and measure broader frequencies than electrodynamic pickups. For many permanent sensors installations in paper mills, steel, and power generation facilities, a PVT sensor is the best investment. Products & Services
Accelerometers are instruments for measuring, displaying, and analyzing acceleration and vibration.
Charge and capacitive signal conditioning modules or systems amplify, attenuate, filter and/or convert a charge signal from an accelerometer, load cell, pressure transducer, displacement transducer or other type of capacitive sensor.
Shakers and shock and vibration testing equipment are force generators or transducers that provide a vibration, shock or modal excitation source for testing and analysis.
Piezoelectric sensors measure the electrical potential caused by applying mechanical force to a piezoelectric material. They are used in a variety of pressure-sensing applications.
Vibration sensors cover sensors and other instruments used for measuring vibration and acceleration.
