New Fiber-optic Amplifier for DIN-rail Mounting, Series 3060

From Contrinex Inc.

Photoelectric devices for DIN-rail mounting (picture 1) are used exclusively in fiber-optic applications. The idea is to build the devices into already available switchboxes or housings, together with other electromechanical and electronic components. Since these components are today normally mounted on DIN rails (C or top-hat rails according to DIN/EN 50022), it makes sense that fiber-optic devices should also be designed for this type of mounting. In this type of installation, the optical fiber heads are mounted at the relevant location on the machine or installation and the fibers led to the corresponding devices in the switchbox (picture 2). In this way, both good protection of the devices and economical mounting are achieved
