Safety Switches: TX Series, Solenoid Locking

From Euchner-U.S.A., Inc.

On machines and systems that perform dangerous movements and that could injure persons in the vicinity, the EU Machinery directive requires the fitting of safety guards. Safety switches have the task of monitoring the position of the moving part of the safety guard. If guard locking is necessary for reasons of process protection or the protection of personnel, safety switches with electromechanical guard locking are used.

The safety switches NX and TX from EUCHNER are characterized by their robust, metal encapsulated housing. This feature enables the switches to be used in many sectors and applications. The advantages of these switches make them the optimal choice for harsh environments.

Products & Services
Safety sensors are used for machine safeguarding. Types of safety sensors are break-a-beam switches, interlocks and tag out devices, perimeter guards, photoelectric safety sensors, safety blocks, safety interlock switches, and safety sensor switches. Learn more about Safety Sensors
Machine safeguarding, presence sensing devices control machine operations and protect personnel by detecting the presence of objects that could interfere with or be harmed by machinery. Search by Specification | Learn more about Machine Safeguarding and Presence Sensing Devices
Noncontact safety interlock switches couple a moveable guard door with the power source of the hazard. For noncontact actuating interlock switches, the guard door is linked to the control circuit contacts via a magnetic or electronic field. Safety sensor switches are placed in enclosures to prevent accidental contact with live electrical connections. Learn more about Safety Sensor Switches
Mechanical safety interlock switches couple a moveable guard door with the power source of the hazard. When the guard door is opened, the power is isolated, ensuring that the machine does not pose a hazard while an operator requires access.
