Beta NOx 2000™ Addresses Opacity Issue and Destroys Reddish Brown NOx Plume

From Met-Pro Corporation

Facility and process engineers at William's Advanced Materials in Buffalo, New York needed to replace an older, inefficient scrubber system. A newer high tech absorber would be required to remove both HNO3 and HCl vapors and aerosols as well as the reddish brown NOx plume that resulted from their precious metals refining operations.

After a thorough evaluation process, a few pre-approved suppliers were invited to visit the plant for a detailed technical presentation of their equipment. Duall was then selected to provide the unique Beta NOx 2000TM scrubber system, complete with high efficiency multi-stage mist eliminator to control acid aerosols.

Products & Services
Dust collectors are used in many processes to either recover valuable granular solid or powder from process streams or to remove granular solid pollutants from exhaust gases prior to venting to the atmosphere. Search by Specification | Learn more about Dust Collectors
Thermal oxidizers and catalytic oxidizers are used to destroy volatile organic compounds (VOC) in process gases. Search by Specification | Learn more about Thermal Oxidizers and Catalytic Oxidizers
Air scrubbers, wet scrubbers, and gas scrubbers are air pollution control devices that use a high-energy liquid spray to remove aerosol and gaseous pollutants from an air stream. The gases are removed either by absorption or chemical reaction. Search by Specification | Learn more about Air Scrubbers, Wet Scrubbers and Gas Scrubbers
Baghouses and Depth Filters utilize air flow throw filter media (often in the shape of a bag) to capture particulate matter.  Filter elements with pleated media and other porous materials (ceramics, glass fibers, etc.) are also used. Search by Specification | Learn more about Baghouses and Baghouse Filters
Mist collectors and fume collectors reduce the amount of mist, aerosols and fumes in the workplace atmosphere. Search by Specification | Learn more about Mist Collectors and Fume Collectors
