Taguchi methods

originally developed by Genichi Taguchi for the purpose of simplifying quality control procedures in Japan. His methods are basically a form of experimental design to achieve near optimal quality characteristics (reduce variability) for processes and products. Numerous experimental design procedures, based on his methods, have since been adapted or developed to achieve this objective.

takt image

the vision of the ideal state in which you have eliminated waste and improved the performance of the value stream to where it is possible to achieve one-piece flow based on takt time.

takt time

the rate at which product must be turned out to satisfy market demand. It is determined by dividing the available production time by the rate of customer demand. For example, if customers demand 240 widgets per day and the factory operates 480 minutes per day, takt time is two minutes. If customers want two new products designed per month, takt time is two weeks. It is a calculated number, not a reflection of your capability. It sets the pace of production to match the rate of customer demand.

target cost

the cost of developing and producing a product that must not be exceeded in order for the customer to be satisfied with the value of the product and the manufacturer to be satisfied with return on investment. The target cost is set after subtracting a product s target profit margin from its target selling price ( allowable cost). A target cost will be set, which...

Products & Services
Utility Meters
Utility meters are used to monitor the consumption of water, gas or electricity by businesses or residences.
Dewatering Equipment
Dewatering equipment uses force, including vacuum and centrifugal motion, to separate water from solids.
Optical Triangulation Position Sensors
Optical triangulation position sensors use reflected waves to pinpoint position and displacement. The source of these waves may be a light emitting diode (LED), infrared (IR) light, or laser.
AC Servomotors
AC servomotors are responsive, high-acceleration motors typically constructed as permanent magnet synchronous motors.
Heat Exchangers
Heat exchangers are commonly used in a wide variety of industrial, chemical, and electronics processes to transfer energy and provide required heating or cooling.
