Sonic horns have been used in industrial baghouse, hopper, silo, and fan applications for more than fifteen years. Dairy Grade Sonic Horns have been used to dramatically reduce powder accumulations on the interior surfaces of spray dryer chambers and baghouses. By keeping spray dryers operating cleaner, with Midwesco's sonic horn product line, Dairy and Food processors can maximize product recovery and improve product quality. Our Clean-In-Place (CIP) design facilitates an easier and more thorough ability for your operators to clean the horns, as needed. To date Midwesco Filter, through our OEM Alliance partner, have over 100 sonic horns in operation throughout the World in Dairy, Food, and Pharmaceutical applications. Example installations included these few: Box type spray dryer chambers, V-bottom Box type spray dryer chambers, Tower dryers, Pulse jet baghouse hoppers, Shaker baghouse plenums and hoppers.
