Handling Description: Transfer and place exhaust assemblies from welding table to storage rack. Problems: Long parts are laying horizontal on the welding table at a 30-degree down angle. The catalytic converter is towards the operator. Parts are placed into the rack vertically, the catalytic converter is away from the operator, at a 15 degree forward angle. Intake tube on the bottom of the part is lifted over and onto a 3" stud. Exhaust tube snaps into clips at the top of the rack. Requirements / Restrictions: ??Exhaust assembly weights 20 lbs. ??Rotate part from horizontal to vertical. ??Requires 20" vertical lift. ??Part, when vertical, needs to rotate 180 degrees for correct positioning into rack. ??7.5" CL-CL part placement in rack with 16" reach in. ??3" Clearance at grip point on the weld table. ??84" manipulator reach required with 138" overhead clearance available.
