Rheology Benefits for Blending and Extrusion

From Associated Polymer Labs, Inc.

Rheology is the science that studies the deformation and flow of materials, whether in liquid, melt, or solid form, in terms of the material's elasticity and viscosity. We test the following: liquids, pastes, gels, polymers, plastics, elastomers, epoxy, composites, adhesives, fillers, additives and compounds.

The C.W. Brabender Instruments, Inc. laboratory extruder systems cover the complete range of processing conditions for quality control, product development, research applications, pilot plant and small scale production. The extruders provide close test reproducibility acting as measuring devices for sensing and recording extrusion torque.

Products & Services
Polymers and plastic materials are organic, synthetic or processed polymers that are supplied as raw materials or stock shapes. They typically consist of thermoplastic or thermosetting resins and can be made into many forms. Search by Specification | Learn more about Polymers and Plastic Materials
Molding compounds and resins are industrial plastics and polymers that are suitable for forming. They are available as pellets, liquids, and powders and are used in processes such as injection molding, compression molding, reaction injection molding (RIM), resin transfer molding (RTM), and blow molding.
