Novel High-Brightness Fiber Coupled Diode Laser Device
From dilas.de
High brightness becomes more and more important in diode laser applications for fiber laser pumping and materials processing. For OEM customers fiber coupled devices have great advantages over direct beam modules: the fiber exit is a standardized interface, beam guiding is easy with nearly unlimited flexibility. In addition to the transport function the fiber serves as homogenizer: the beam profile of the laser radiation emitted from a fiber is symmetrical with highly repeatable beam quality and pointing stability.

Products & Services
Fiber lasers use optical fibers doped with low levels of rare-earth halides as the lasing medium to amplify light.
Diode lasers use light-emitting diodes to produce stimulated emissions in the form of coherent light output. They are also known as laser diodes.
Laser optics, heads and beam delivery components are used in laser cutting machines, laser welding and marking systems.
Helium neon (HeNe) lasers have an emission that is determined by neon atoms by virtue of a resonant transfer of excitation of helium. They operate continuously in the red, infrared and far-infrared regions and emit highly monochromatic radiation.
Laser cutting machines, laser welding machines and laser marking systems use high-powered lasers to cut, trim, perforate, weld, or join a variety of materials in plate or sheet form.
