New Potato Starch Recovery Method Uses Self Cleaning Filters Instead of Vibrating Screens
From ronningen-petter.com

A United States Potato Processor discovered that a Ronningen-Petter brand self-cleaning filter can replace their costly, maintenance intensive vibrating screen unit!

In addition, they found that the filter improved the quality of their potato starch, while addressing several much needed safety issues. This permitted them to increase their profitability!

A food processing company was using a vibrating shaker-screen filter for their potato starch line. They had been having problems with the starch gelatinous particles clogging the screen, which would cause them to lose quality product within their discharged material. The clogged screen would also result in an overflow of valuable liquid flooding the area.

Products & Services
Dewatering equipment uses force, including vacuum and centrifugal motion, to separate water from solids.
Industrial parts washers remove grease, soil, oil, abrasive dust, blast debris, swarf, paint, corrosion or other contaminants from the surfaces of components exiting a production line.
Touch screen displays are user-friendly input devices. The user touches the screen and the input is communicated directly to the computer.
Screen printing services providers use forms, stencils and fine screens to place designs or logos onto products.
Solids feeders are used to deliver powder, granular and other bulk solid materials along a process line, or to and from process units, storage bins, conveyors and product packaging.
