Mounting
   Mounting
   Your choices are...
Solderable (surface mount)       Fuses that use surface mount technology (SMT) can be soldered directly onto space-sensitive devices such as motherboards, personal digital assistants (PDA), and PC cards.
Solderable (with leads)       Fuses are solderable and have axial or radial leads.
Replaceable (with holder or clips)       Fuses (such as cartridge-style devices) are replaceable.
   Other       Other unlisted mounting styles.
Search Logic:      All products with ANY of the selected attributes will be returned as matches. Leaving all boxes unchecked will not limit the search criteria for this question; products with all attribute options will be returned as matches.

RoHS Compliance
RoHS Compliant       Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) is a European Union (EU) directive that requires all manufacturers of electronic and electrical equipment sold in Europe to demonstrate that their products contain only minimal levels of the following hazardous substances: lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyl and polybrominated diphenyl ether. RoHS will become effective on July 1, 2006.
Search Logic:      "Required" and "Must Not Have" criteria limit returned matches as specified. Products with optional attributes will be returned for either choice.

Performance Ratings
Voltage Rating       Voltage rating is the maximum voltage at which a safe fault-current interruption occurs. The circuit's maximum effective operating voltage is an important consideration when specifying voltage rating.
Search Logic:      All matching products will have a value greater than or equal to the specified value.
Current Rating       Current rate is the rated current of the fuse. The maximum continuous operating current of the circuit and the influence of the ambient temperature are important considerations when specifying current rate.
Search Logic:      All matching products will have a value greater than or equal to the specified value.
Rated Breaking Capacity       Rated breaking capacity (interrupting rating) is the short-circuit current at which the fuse blows (at the rated voltage) without destruction or the maintenance of arcing. The maximum possible fault current is an important consideration when specifying the rated breaking capacity.
Search Logic:      All matching products will have a value greater than or equal to the specified value.
Interrupt Rating      The rated breaking capacity or interrupt rating is the short-circuit current at which the fuse can blow (at the rated voltage) without destruction or the maintenance or arcing. The maximum possible fault current is an important consideration when specifying rated breaking capacity.
   Your choices are...
High Interrupt       Fuses have a high interrupt rating.
Medium Interrupt       Fuses have a medium or mid-range interrupt rating.
Low Interrupt       Fuses have a low interrupt rating.
Search Logic:      All products with ANY of the selected attributes will be returned as matches. Leaving all boxes unchecked will not limit the search criteria for this question; products with all attribute options will be returned as matches.

Approvals /Standards
   Approvals / Standards
   Your choices are...
UL Approval       Approval from Underwriters Laboratories (UL) indicates that the fuse is manufactured in full compliance with the UL 248-14 standard. UL Recognition, c-UL Listing, c-UL Recognition, c-UL-us Listing, and c-UL-us Recognition do not imply full compliance with UL-248-14.
CSA Certification       Approval from the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) indicates that the fuse or fuse holder is manufactured in full compliance with CSA C22.2, No. 248.14 or CSA C22.2, No. 39.
BSI Approval       British Standards Institute (BSI) approval indicates that the fuse is manufactured in full compliance with the appropriate section of IEC 60127 (BS 4265).
VDE Approval       Approval from VDE, a German organization, indicates that the fuse or fuse holder is manufactured in full compliance with the appropriate section of the IEC 60127 standard.
IEC (UMF) Approval       International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) approval applies to universal modular fuses (UMF) that comply with IEC 60127-4.
SEMKO Approval       Approval from SEMKO, a Swedish organization, indicates that a fuse or fuse holder is manufactured in full compliance with the appropriate section of the IEC 60127 standard.
Dentori Approval       Approval from Dentori, a Japanese organization, indicates that the fuse is manufactured in full compliance with standards from Japan's Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI).
MIL Standard       Fuses meet U.S. military standards (MIL-STD).
QPL Approval       Qualified products list (QPL) is used to test products before procurement to determine if the supplier complies with specifications.
Search Logic:      All products with ANY of the selected attributes will be returned as matches. Leaving all boxes unchecked will not limit the search criteria for this question; products with all attribute options will be returned as matches.

   Features
   Your choices are...
Resettable       Resettable, polymeric, or positive temperature coefficient (PTC) fuses are unlike traditional fuses, which must be replaced after a fault condition. With resettable fuses, internal resistance increases in response to an overcurrent or a short-circuit condition, limiting subsequent disturbances. After the fault condition is removed, the device cools and the internal resistance drops to nearly its initial value, permitting normal equipment operation to resume.
Indicating       Fuses have visual indication and/or alarm activation. They are used for telecommunication, computer and control circuit applications.
Fast Acting       Fast-acting or quick-acting fuses are used in circuits with small inrush currents, or where an overcurrent or short circuit must be interrupted quickly, such as with resistive loads.
Time Lag       Time-delay or time-lag fuses are used where high-starting inrush currents occur and decay gradually, such as with inductive or capacitive loads.
Search Logic:      All products with ANY of the selected attributes will be returned as matches. Leaving all boxes unchecked will not limit the search criteria for this question; products with all attribute options will be returned as matches.
Operating Temperature       This is the full required range of ambient operating temperature.
Search Logic:      User may specify either, both, or neither of the limits in a "From - To" range; when both are specified, matching products will cover entire range. Products returned as matches will meet all specified criteria.
