   Ground (Earth) Fault?       Ground (earth) fault is any undesired current path from a point of differing potential to ground.

Frequency Sensitive Relay A Relay that operates when energized electrically at a particular frequency or within specific frequency bands.
   Overfrequency?       The relay responds to an increase in the frequency of an alternating electrical input quantity.

Other Protective Functions
   Time Delay       Relays provide time delay on make, time delay on break, single shot, recycling, and interval timing functions.

   Synchronous Check (Paralleling)?       Synchronous check or paralleling relays sense the phase-angle displacement and amplitude difference between two voltages.
