| Search Logic: | All products with ANY of the selected attributes will be returned as matches. Leaving all boxes unchecked will not limit the search criteria for this question; products with all attribute options will be returned as matches. | ||
| Adjustment Type: | |||
| Your choices are... | |||
| Fixed | The optical component or device is fixed. | ||
| Kinematic | Kinematic mounting is the most commonly used approach for providing two axis rotational adjustment in optical mounts. In a kinematic mount, the center of rotation is located somewhat off the optic surface. As a result, any adjustment usually results in both angular movement and translation of the reflected/transmitted light. Furthermore, the adjustment axes are not completely independent in a kinematic mount. | ||
| Gimbal | Gimbal mounts imply that the center of rotation is located at the geometrical center and on the front surface of the optical component. They are typically used when even small changes in optical path length are critical. Gimbal mounts are usually more mechanically complex, and thus more costly, than kinematic mounts. | ||

| Clear Aperture: | The opening in the mount of an optical system or its components that restricts the extent of the light rays incident on the given surface. It is usually circular and specified by a diameter. | ||
| Search Logic: | All matching products will have a value greater than or equal to the specified value. | ||

| Mounted Object Shape: | Filters are available in round, square, or rectangular configurations. | ||
| Your choices are... | |||
| Circular | The mount is designed for an optical component that is circular shaped. | ||
| Square | The mount is designed for an optical component that is square shaped. | ||
| Rectangular | The mount is designed for an optical component that is rectangular shaped. | ||
| Elliptical | The mount is designed for an optical component that is elliptically shaped. | ||

| Diameter, Square Side, Rectangular Length, or Elliptical Major Axis: | If the optical component is circular search by the diameter. If the optical component is square search by the length of a side. If the optical component is rectangular search by the length of its largest side. If the optical component is elliptical, search by its major axis. | ||
| Search Logic: | User may specify either, both, or neither of the "At Least" and "No More Than" values. Products returned as matches will meet all specified criteria. | ||
| Rectangular Width or Elliptical Minor Axis: | If the optical component is rectangular search by the length of one of its shorter sides. If the optical component is elliptical search by the length of its minor axis. | ||
| Search Logic: | User may specify either, both, or neither of the "At Least" and "No More Than" values. Products returned as matches will meet all specified criteria. | ||
| Maximum Thickness: | The maximum thickness of the optical component that the mount can hold. | ||
| Search Logic: | All matching products will have a value greater than or equal to the specified value. | ||
