MTI Instruments, Inc. (MTI Instruments) , the wholly-owned subsidiary of Mechanical Technology, Incorporated (MTI) has received ISO 9001:2008 certification, an internationally recognized standard issued to organizations with a quality management system.


MTI Instruments, Inc., today announced it received a purchase order for $769 thousand from the U.S. Air Force Metrology and Calibration Program Office (AFMETCAL) for the purchase of MTI Instruments portable balancing systems (PBS) calibration kits.


The Microtrak PRO 2D laser triangulation scanners provide high speed profile, displacement and dimensional information. MTII’s 40+ years of providing non-contact sensors has given us the experience to offer the latest state-of-the-art 2D sensors.


MTII recently acquired the Fullam brand of miniature tensile, compression and bend testing machines specifically designed for use in Scanning Electron Microscopes (SEM’s), Atomic Force Microscopes (AFM’s) and Light Microscopes (LM’s).
