The patented Series 5000 Silica Analyzer is an on-line instrument using the silicomolybdate/heteropoly blue method of analysis for colorimetric measurement of silica at a wavelength of 810 nm. The measurement range is 0.00 to 5000 micrograms/liter (µg/L or parts per billion) as reactive silica (SiO2). The analyzer provides a digital display of concentration and is autocalibrating.
