Schurter extends its range of metal pushbutton switches to include a latching-action ON/OFF version. The new MSM LA is rated 30 VDC and 250 VAC with a maximum switching current of 12 Amps. The switch provides mechanical indication in the ON and OFF positions. The actuator is raised above the switch housing in the OFF state and is recessed into the housing when depressed to switch ON. Schurter announces the USF 0402 surface mount fuse making it the smallest new member to the USF family. This tiny new addition performs with a Super Quick Acting (FF) characteristic at rated currents ranging from 0.375 - 4A at 32 VDC, 5A at 24 VDC. (read more)

Schurter has added two new mounting types to its popular T9 series fuseholder style, single pole circuit breaker for over current protection. The rear mount versions include a threaded neck style and a snap-in type. An IP 65 rated cover can be added to the threaded neck version. The rear snap in version supports a broad range of panel thicknesses (0.5 – 3.0 mm). (read more)

SCHURTER's new series DD21 and DD22 power entry modules have been conceptually designed for PCB mounting. The DD21 product is equipped with multiple functions including inlet connector, switching and fusing. In addition, the DD22 series offers standard or medical filter versions. Schurter introduced the new power entry modules as an extension to their existing snap-in and pcb mount counterparts. The new addition with mounting flange is offered for applications requiring screw mouning to the panel. The DD series provides up to four functions packed into a 49x30mm space saving package. The TA35 series circuit breakers are available in 1-, 2- or 3-pole arrangements and stand out through their compact form and attractive design. Schurter's new MSM snap-in switches have the same characteristics as their screw mount counterparts, the only difference being in the assembly of the switch to the panel. These new snap-in switches are pressed into the panel from the front side, enabling quick, efficient installation in buildings, controllers or equipment with limited or no access from the rear. Schurter is pleased to announce the new series 5003 DC power entry module for 48V telecom and other DC-powered equipment. The new DC module features two different standard connector styles, AMP Universal MATE-N-LOK and Molex HCS-125. Schurter's C20F, DC12 and KFA power entry module product lines are extended to include filter cases with a solid metal flange. SCHURTER released today the industry's first IEC quick-acting (F) chip fuse series USI 1206, Universal Modular Fuse (UMF). It is approved according to IEC 60127-4/2, and bears international approvals by cURus, METI and CCC. (read more)

SCHURTER's extension to its FPG family of shock-safe fuseholders to include a version for SMD mounting. Like earlier FPG mounting styles 1-6, the new FPG7 accepts 5x20 mm cartridge fuses. The compact fuseholder includes a fuse carrier with screwdriver slot or fingergrip knob. The complete unit consumes minimal space and provides an extremely low profile on the printed circuit board. SCHURTER's new series 4797 appliance outlets are rated up to 20 A at 250 VAC. The high current outlets consist of two versions for screw or snap-in mounting.
