Professional Certification Programs

Released in 2012, BICSI's newest credential is the Registered Telecommunications Project Manager (RTPM). An RTPM oversees and coordinates the interaction between designers, engineers, installers and technicians when new infomation technology systems (ITS) projects are being developed or undergoing construction. BICSI is now offering credential examinations through computer-based testing from Pearson VUE. There are more than 4,500 authorized testing facilities in 165 countries. Testing for the RCDD, RITP, DCDC and OSP Design designations is underway with BICSI's other credentials soon to follow. (read more)

BICSI established its credential programs to provide a level of assurance to the industry and to consumers that an individual has knowledge in a designated area of information transport systems (ITS) design or installation. Codes, Standards, and Regulations

From its inception as the BICSI Standards Committee, the BICSI Standards Program creates standards and guidelines for use in the design, installation and integration of information technology systems (ITS) and related telecommunications fields. (read more)
