Markets
Sherborne Sensors’ products are utilized in a wide variety of markets, including aerospace, military, energy, transportation, municipal infrastructure, bulk steel milling and fabrication, and mining. The potential range of applications for Sherborne products is extensive, and continually increasing. Applications include fire control system stabilization for military platforms, die adjustment for continuous metal casting operations, road profiling systems, optimization of down hole techniques for directional drilling systems, bridge fatigue monitoring, and more. Markets and applications typically entail harsh environments where extremes in temperature, shock, vibration and particulates are found.

Products

Inclinometers
Products have ranges from 1 to +/-90 degrees, with accuracy to 0.1 arc second (0.000028 degrees). Various configurations are offered, including standard, miniature and cylindrical, with single and multi-axes output capability. Customization of products to meet specific application requirements is available.

Accelerometers
Products have ranges from +/-0.1 to +/-500g, with shock limits to 1500g and non-linearity to 0.03% FRO. Products can be ordered with a variety of connections, excitation voltages, and physical configurations. Customized configurations are also available.

Load Cells
Products have ranges from +/-30 grams to over 1,000 kN. A wide variety of product configurations are available. Sherborne specializes in developing customized force and weight sensing solutions to meet specific customer applications, from one of kind needs, through large, OEM applications.

Rotary Encoders
Sherborne Sensors distributes Leine & Linde encoders. Backed by a 30-year heritage in this specialist technology, these rotary encoders are acknowledged to be among the most precise, robust and versatile on the world market.
